In wine making business : used to enrich musts and new wines.

Cloudifier
  • Baking industry : a cheaper source of supplemental calcium in enriched flours and bakery products
  • Brewing industry : normally used to correct mineral deficiencies in water giving a more permanent hardness and producing a smoother tasting beer with improved stability and longer shelf-life
  • Food industry in general : normally used as a natural cloudifier agent
Acidulants
Apart from their obvious functions as acidifier, chelating and flavoring agents, they are normally used for their anti microbial effects in heat sensitive products.
